Our Story
Sierra Leone Muslim Jamaat (SLMJ) was founded by a group of dedicated Sierra Leonean Muslims who sought to establish a spiritual home for their community in the Washington D.C. metropolitan area.
Over the years, SLMJ has grown into a vibrant mosque and community center, offering daily prayers, Jummah services, educational programs, and social support for Muslim families across Maryland and the surrounding region.
Today, SLMJ stands as a beacon of faith and togetherness — welcoming all who seek connection, worship, and community.
